Dear Colleague,
The 2027 Edition of the Speckle series conference will take place at Le Mans University, in France in the city of Le Mans, which is also the city of the famous car race “24H Le Mans”.
The web site of Speckle’27 is at this address:
https://speckle2027.sciencesconf.org
Speckle’27 is the continuation of the series started in 2000 in Lausanne (Switzerland), then pursued in 2003 Trondheim (Norway), 2006 Nimes (France), 2010 Florianopolis (Brasil), 2012 Vigo (Spain), 2015 Guanajuato (Mexico), 2018 Janow Podlaski (Poland), and 2023 Xi’an (China).
For 18 years the speckle and optical metrology community from all over the world has gathered at Speckle Conferences to present their latest research, share information of current advancements in the field and set the future directions of research, development of commercial instrumentation and applications.
For the Speckle’27 edition, our goal is to bring together the large community working on the fundamentals of speckle, its numerical simulations, the related experimental techniques, and its various applications.
The non-exhaustive list of topics includes (please refer also to the web site):
- Fundamental of speckle: statistical properties, 3D speckle fields, space-time correlation, polarization in speckle, vortex in speckle, generation of speckle, dynamics of speckle
- Characterization of speckle patterns: speckle in Monte Carlo simulations, bio-speckle, metrological characterization of speckle patterns
- Speckle-based photonic systems: speckle spectrometers, speckle interferometry and fringe pattern analysis, speckle in phase retrieval, speckle in holographic display and holographic interferometry, speckle in optical coherence tomography and elastography, speckle in computational imaging
- Processing of speckles: speckle reduction and deblurring in imaging systems, speckle in imaging: noise and/or information, use of speckle illumination in imaging systems, speckle in LIDAR and photon counting applications, speckle flowmetry, imaging through dynamic scattering media
- Applications: roughness measurement, 3D shape measurement with speckle, vibrations measurements with speckle, speckle-based super resolution microscopy, speckle in artwork and cultural heritage inspection, …
