Mission:
We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist Intern to join our team for the summer. The internship will focus on developing and deploying machine learning algorithms to create more value for small businesses on the Declic platform by:
- Targeted Exposure: Designing algorithms that optimize event visibility, showing users the events they are most likely to attend based on their profiles and behavior.
- Smart Analytics: Building real-time dashboards and models that track user engagement, trends, and feedback to provide actionable insights for businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze user data and event engagement patterns to identify key trends and opportunities.
- Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models.
- Implement recommendation systems to personalize event suggestions.
- Create real-time analytics dashboards for small businesses.
- Collaborate with the product and AI teams to integrate algorithms into the Declic app.
Required Skills:
- Strong background in data analysis and machine learning.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Solid knowledge of Python programming.
- Experience with key libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy.
- Good level of English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with building and deploying models in production is a plus.
- Creativity, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently.
