Subject description:
In this thesis, we propose to develop a super-resolution model based on deep learning, capable of improving the visual quality of videos, even in difficult acquisition conditions such as fog, rain, blur, shadows or high altitude. This model needs to be adapted to the specific constraints of UAVs, while guaranteeing sufficient resolution for object detection.
Laboratory description:
The Informatics, Image and Interaction Laboratory (L3i) is a research laboratory of La Rochelle University. La Rochelle Université is a young, dynamic university on a human scale. La Rochelle is located in the south-west of France, on the Atlantic coast, and is one of the most attractive and dynamic cities in France. The successful candidate will join the Images and Content research team. Travels to the XLIM laboratory in the framework of the collaboration in the SENTINEL project.
