A fully funded PhD position is available at Université Bourgogne Europe / CNRS, ICB UMR 6303 (Dijon), in collaboration with Université Côte d’Azur / CNRS, I3S UMR 7271, within the PEPR Robotique HAMMER project.
The PhD will investigate multimodal perception and hybrid model-based/data-driven control for real-world robotic manipulation. The research will combine RGB-D perception, physical and geometric priors, learned representations and multimodal feedback to enable adaptive manipulation of objects with complex physical interactions.
Experimental work will be conducted on real robotic platforms.
