We invite you to join us for ISIT 2024, July 7-12 in Athens, Greece!

ISIT is the premier venue dedicated to information theory and related areas, including big data analytics, source and channel coding, communication theory and systems, information theory of biological systems/DNA storage, cryptography and security, detection and estimation, networks, network coding, signal processing, and statistical/machine learning. Over the years, more ISIT papers have focused on the fundamental limits of machine learning as well as algorithm design.

 

On Sunday, July 7, we have half day tutorials: (1) Theory and Methods for Deep Generative Models, (2) Information-Theoretic, Statistical Algorithmic Foundations of Reinforcement Learning, (3) Language Model Inference: Theory and Algorithms, (4) Graph Matching: Fundamental Limits and Efficient Algorithms, (5) Coding Theory for Exascale Storage Systems, and (6) Scaling and Reliability Foundations in Machine Learning

 

Sunday, July 7, for the first time, we will host full day workshops (1) IT Methods for Trustworthy ML, (2) DNA-based data storage, (3) IT in Neuroscience and Neuroengineering, (4) Quantum Information Knowledge and (5) Learn to compress.

 

We also have a simultaneous chess game with a grand master, the BitsnBots competition, an NSF/ERC early career funding panel, and a ChatGPT Chat! Our Monday Welcome Reception will be at the striking Stavros Niarchos Foundation and our Thursday banquet at a lovely seaside venue.
