We have an open PhD position starting on fall 2024 in the frame of a collaboration betwenn AI chair OceaniX (Prof. Ronan Fablet, IMT Atlantique/Lab-STICC, INRIA team Odyssey) Mercator Ocean International and MIT (Prof. Pierre Lermusiaux).

This PhD aims to develop neural schemes in the context of the digital twins of the ocean. It will address research avenues at the crossroads of deep learning, generative modelig, data assimilation and uncertainty quantification to improve the modeling, reconstruction and forecasting of ocena dynamics.
