• Objective: Apply generative AI to enable energy-efficient, semantic-based communication in massive MIMO systems, addressing the challenges of high-capacity networks.
• Approach:
  • Use generative models to extract and transmit only essential semantic information, reducing data load and power consumption.
  • Leverage massive MIMO’s beamforming and spatial multiplexing to deliver targeted, meaning-rich information efficiently.
  • Account for hardware impairments (e.g., nonlinearities, phase noise, and power amplifier inefficiencies) to ensure robust, energy-efficient performance in real-world systems.

· Skills Required: Strong background in wireless communications and signal processing, proficiency in Python, and foundational knowledge in AI/ML techniques.
